Easter

To say Adeline had fun over the Easter weekend would be an understatement! Jared had an extended weekend since he gets Good Friday off and we spent as much time as possible outside which is always on the top of her list, but she was also able to spend time with both sets of grandparents. My parents, "Ma" and "DaDaddy," as Adeline calls them, came by Saturday morning and gave her an Easter present. She got a rain coat, watering can, flashlight and a bubble gun. She sure loved the bubble gun! She enjoyed watering the flowers and herself (oops!) and filling up the bird bath with her new watering can.






On Sunday, we went to the early service at Southside Church where Adeline was able to play with her cousin Charlotte and friend Riley as well as probably 15 other 1 to 2 year olds in the nursery while we enjoyed a great message by Andy Stanley. After church, we had lunch at Ted's with Jared's parents, MoMo and PoPo. They came back to our house afterwards and stayed until after dinner. MoMo and PoPo gave Adeline a bubble stick which was also a favorite, counting and colors book and candy. We spent most of the day in the backyard even when Adeline was napping. I was also able to buy and plant flowers for the summer. I figured I needed to do it while I could still "kind of" bend over! After dinner, Adeline played with her cousins Natalie and Emma and we spent some time with my brother, who was home for a weekend break during his 3 month stay in Orlando for his new job at Chick-fil-a, and Valori.






Beautiful weather and time spent with family...what a wonderful way to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior!
