Though we can definitely see differences, it is remarkable how similar our girls look! Most of the differences are in their body shapes. When all you see are their faces, they look much more alike.

"No autographs please!"
First let me say that I did not leave her alone in here! I promise she was playing and making noise one minute. Then the next minute it seemed much quieter and this is what I found...
Adeline started her Parent-Tot Gymnastics class today! She had so much fun and did so well! She's in the class with her cousins Charlotte and Emma. They spend the first part of class working on the equipment (balance beam, rings, high bar, vault, etc.) and learning positions, then do a "circle time" exercise as a group, have free time, and then regroup to finish the class with another game, the Bye-Bye song, cookies and stamps. She had a blast jumping on the trampoline during free time and even jumped from the trampoline into the foam pit. I'm so excited about this class! It really seems like something she will enjoy!
Adeline and Emma patiently awaiting the start of class!
"Jump, jump, jump!" says Adeline and Charlotte.
Mrs. Nicole told them to turn on their listening ears so that's exactly what Adeline is doing!

During dinner at Chili's tonight, a man was walking around making balloon animals for the kids. Adeline got very excited when he approached our table! She told him she wanted a teddy bear so a teddy bear is what she got!
Cora was introduced to the stationary entertainer today! Her feet just barely touch the bottom, but it won't be long. She's learning to reach out and play with the toys. Every time she has a successful interaction with one of the toys, she gets cheered on by her big sister. Adeline says, "Yay, Cora!!!"
And while Cora is figuring out the entertainer, Adeline is discovering a new way to play the piano!
said Adeline to her tortellini, parmesan cheese, salt, and juice while hugging them during lunch!
We named this wall "Cora's Wall" because she loves it! It's so funny to watch her stare at this wall. She'll look at it and smile from ear to ear! We prop her up on our lap so she can smile at her wall. Who knew a simple wall could be so exciting?!
Adeline was sitting on the counter "putting on make-ups" with me when I noticed that her toe nails needed to be clipped. Anyone that's ever been around when Adeline's nails are being clipped knows it is not a pretty site! I thought I would use painting her nails as an incentive. She LOVED it! Painting her nails was a mommy/daughter experience that I've been looking forward to for a long time!
Just kidding! Valori (our sister-in-law), Cora, and I were sitting out on the front porch one evening while Jared wrapped Adeline's perfectly fine leg in an Ace bandage and sent her outside. She looked hilarious trying to walk with that thing!
The 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays! We had a blast again this year! We kicked off the festivities on Saturday by going to downtown Newnan's Market Day on the Square. We walked around for a bit, saw an owl which Adeline thought was very neat, and let Adeline try out a carnival ride. To say she had fun on the ride would be an understatement! We followed that up with lunch at Moe's with MoMo and PoPo and returned home to make homemade ice cream for Sunday and let the girls take naps.

She was having more fun than the big kids!
Daddy has his hands full! :)
On Sunday, we spent a lovely morning relaxing and playing at the pool. That afternoon we had a cookout with most of both sides of our family. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we were stuffed after eating Jared's delicious steaks, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, grilled veggies, homemade Reese's ice cream, and cupcakes! As soon as we finished eating, we all went over to Newnan High School's football stadium to watch the fireworks. Adeline, Natalie and Emma got to run around. Some of the adults played poker using the girls' goldfish as chips (you do what you gotta do!). It was a nice, relaxed evening. Adeline enjoyed every bit of the fireworks show as we figured she would. I'm looking forward to seeing how Cora reacts to fireworks when she gets a little older!
Strolling to the stadium...
Adeline took a break to check on her baby sister!

Watching the show!
