Adeline's Big Girl Bed

Adeline LOVES her new bed! A couple of months ago we bought twin bunk beds from BJs because eventually the girls will share a room. Fortunately, the beds are also able to be used as separate beds so we only had to set up one in Adeline's room for now. The price was fantastic, and we are very pleased with how solid they seem! The drawers extend the entire width of the bed allowing for plenty of storage.

Adeline was very excited to show her bed off to her cousins Natalie and Emma and Aunt Valori!

We were hoping the transition from the crib/toddler bed would be relatively easy for her to help with potential jealousy issues when the baby comes and is sleeping in the crib. She wimpered just briefly as Jared and I carried the crib out of her room. I would say the transition has been wonderful! The crib being set up in the baby's room doesn't seem to phase her.

She's been in this bed since last Friday night and last night was the first time she's fallen off. She wasn't hurt, and in fact didn't even wake up fully. Hopefully she won't have too many more falls, but a few are to be expected!
